Tuesday August 11, 2009

Tuesday morning we arrived at the Library to hook Dawn’s laptop to the internet and began blogging. With no internet service we are forced there everyday so I hope you all read every line that is written and give comments, (very important to Dawn, Carole, and Terry). Anyway, while at the library, there was a man that tried to engage us in conversation by saying, he knew who killed Jon Benet Ramsey and several others. This wanna be FBI agent kept telling us the District Attorney would not believe him and shoving in our faces; why do we attract the weirdo’s?
We finally left and began our journey to Boston. Carole is dreaming of Starbucks but has to settle for Dunkin Donuts. When we do find one its not at the right time. Terry and I are amazed at the lack of bathrooms. Convienent stores don’t let you use their’s, and at this gas station/garage there was only one bathroom for workers and customers!
We finally arrived in Boston, several hours later after two backseat drivers!!!!!(Carole and Terry) took us via the truck route. Shopping at Quincy Market and Fanuiel Hall was ok but the best part was our visit to Cheers Bar ! We walked the mile trip but didn’t tell Dawn and Terry the actual distance. We walked past the Massachusetts State House and a Cemetery passengers from the Mayflower. Cheers was fun with pictures of the stars on the walls. Another long day and our wonderful chauffeur , Dawn got us to the Cape.
