P Town

P TOWN – August 9, 2009
P Town was on the agenda for the day. A pleasant drive up the Cape. Weather was beautiful……we knew that we were in a different world when we came into town and was greeted by and american flag that was a field of blue with the stars but the stripes were rainbow…………….AHHHHHHHH Charlie Brown what is that? I guess we are in Provincetown, home of the Rainbow Coalition and its followers……We walked down the street looking at everyone trying to decide if they were straight or not, we decided that we were the only normal ones here. A guy in a Bikini singing Frank Sinanta , guys holding hands, girls holding hands, a guy in a great looking grey knit dress, beige stockings and beige pumps with a gear on his head riding a pink bicycle. What more could you want from a vacation? We found a place to eat, Terry got her Lobster Roll, I had my Crab cakes, Carolyn had something and so did Carole, I don’t really remember because I was to busy looking at all the couples outside the window. We did a little shopping and then promptly left the scene. Drove next to the beach and saw how the Cap really hooks….the view was awesome from the observation tower. Did buy a really cool Cape Cod bracelet……with a story, sold to me by a real hot one.
