Travel

Travel Day One
Well our driver, Sir Frank, picked everyone up beginning at 4:00am…..everyone seemed to be in s lovely mood despite the time. Terry thought we were silly to be there so early, however the line was extremely long and we are lucky that it didn’t take us long to get through security. After getting through security with no problems, we couldn’t find coffee for Carole or anything to eat for the rest of us……nothing is open at O dark thirty……wake up San Antonio, what is wrong with you people don’t you know we gotta eat.
I was lucky I didn’t have anyone setting next to me on the plane to Memphis, the guy at the window seat (I had the aisle) was a short sleeping Japanese guy……I thought he was going to slide under the seat he was slipping down so low in the seat, he slept the whole way…..the steward even had to wake him up.
Then on the way to Detroit……geeeeze, Carolyn had the window, I had the MIDDLE and Joe the Plummer had the aisel and half of my seat. Brother, loose some weight Joe the Plummer these planes aren’t made for seat sharing. On top of that he was chewing tobacco and almost accosted me for my Dr. Pepper bottle so he could spit in it…..is that gross or what……
We finally made it in to Rhode Island after an hour and 10 minute delay and had a wonderful car trip to 20 Perry Ln and our home for the next week. Thank you Tom Tom for perfect directions…..the house was old and cold……windows up and a cool nights sleep, however I don’t think Terry slept for fear of murders or bears breaking in to get us. Miss everyone.......NOT!
